Cindy Crawford

CindyCynthia Ann Crawford (born February 20th the 20th of February, 1966) is an American model and actress as well as a television star. In the 1980s and 90s she was a popular supermodel, a prominent presence on runways and magazines, as well as in fashion shows. In the years following, she expanded her acting skills and entered business. In her sophomore year in high school, she received the phone number of an apparel store in the local area regarding modeling work. Later, she discovered it was a prank phone call by two of her classmates. The following year, another retailer took on a few high school girls including Crawford and her sister, to do be their models (including a fashion shoot). In her senior year, local photographer Roger Legel, whose duties included photographing a different college student to be the week's coed in the DeKalb Nite Weekly, asked to photograph Crawford for the publication; the result was her first cover. [9] The photo and the favorable feedback received from her were enough to convince her to take up modeling. At first, she worked for a small agency. Elite Model Management sold her to the agency shortly after she signed. At the age of 17, she was a participant in Elite's Look of the Year contest and advanced to the finals at national level.
